We are always interested to hear from Scientists and Engineers with previous experience in an investigative or diagnostic role.

 

About you


Industry experience in a fire/combustion related science would be an advantage, as would experience in motor vehicle engineering to Chartered Engineer level. Though we don’t typically recruit candidates directly from University or with ‘general’ forensic degrees, your attitude is of the highest priority. A willingness to work long hours, often in the pouring rain, whilst up to your elbows in ashes is a pre-requisite for this role.

 

You will also have the ability to write clear, concise reports in a timely fashion which are ultimately suitable for cross-examination in court.

 

This is a varied role that will ensure your career is constantly challenging in both a physical and intellectual sense.
